Presenting...Arohanui Strings!
Arohanui Strings is a music education program, modelled from Venezuela’s
El Sistema program, whose mission is to empower families, communities
and individuals through the joys and challenges that come with making
and sharing music. We are a charitable trust that offers free violin,
viola, cello and bass lessons to ANY child who wants to in the
Wellington region.
This year, Arohanui will be bringing a variety of music to Cuba Street; from Studio Ghibli to Coldplay to Western Art Music to Waiata and Pese.
The Arohanui Strings Ensemble
features senior players of Arohanui Strings, teachers, and friends.
