Quantum Femmes are back for
Classical on Cuba 2022! Feel free to wear your best Edwardian hat and
settle in for a unique musical experience with the String Quartet in E
minor written by the wonderful suffragette composer, Ethyl Smyth. Smyth,
a prolific composer, was known for throwing stones through the windows
of politicians who opposed the vote for women back in 1912. Other
musical treats include the mystical Nocturnes trilogy by one of
Katherine Mansfield's lovers, the New Zealand composer Arnold Trowell.
