Be the first audience in the world to hear these brand new songs written especially for the Festival! Presenting "The New Cuba Street Suite" in which five local composers bring to life the poetry and words of local authors.

Classical on Cuba is proud to present the work of Lucien Johnson, Salina Fisher, Arjuna Oakes, Umar Zakaria and Jess Deacon.

Hear the following poems set to music:
'How to live with mammals' by Ash Davida Jane
"How I Speak" by Khadro Mohamed, from her book “We’re All Made Of Lightning”
Peter Bland, entitled "Mad Joy", "Desire" and "Driving Home"

Expect a 30 minute set of music of all different styles and colours. Come and celebrate the culture of Cuba Street with this new collaborative project!
